This Privacy Policy explains how Joni processes information when you connect an Instagram professional account and use Joni automation features.
1. Who operates Joni
Joni is operated by Jonathan de Lieme, Tel Aviv, Israel (“Joni”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). For privacy questions, contact deliemejonathan@gmail.com.
2. Information we process
Depending on the features you enable and the permissions you grant through Meta or Instagram, Joni may process:
- Instagram professional account identifiers, username, account type, and basic profile information.
- Media identifiers and related metadata for posts, reels, or other supported media.
- Comments and comment metadata when comment automation features are enabled.
- Messages and conversation metadata when messaging features are enabled.
- Webhook events received from Meta that are necessary to run enabled automations.
- Automation configuration, including selected media, trigger rules, keywords, reply templates, and status.
- Operational records such as event, job, delivery, error, and activity logs needed to provide and secure the service.
- Account and support information you provide directly to us.
3. How we use information
We process information to:
- connect and authenticate your Instagram professional account;
- run automations you configure;
- receive and process Meta webhook events;
- send permitted replies or messages on your behalf;
- prevent duplicate actions and maintain delivery integrity;
- provide activity history, support, security, and troubleshooting;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Meta and Instagram data
Joni uses Meta's official APIs and authentication flows. Your use of Instagram and Meta services remains subject to Meta's and Instagram's own terms and privacy policies. Joni only requests permissions needed for features you choose to use.
5. Legal basis
Where applicable, we process personal data because it is necessary to provide the service you request, because we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing Joni, because you have provided consent, or because processing is required by law.
6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal data. We may share or process information with service providers needed to operate Joni, such as:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. and related Instagram services;
- hosting, database, monitoring, and infrastructure providers;
- email or support providers where used;
- professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
Service providers are expected to process information only as necessary to provide their services to us.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Joni, maintain security and auditability, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may differ by data type. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These measures may include encrypted credential storage, restricted access, audit logging, and transport encryption. No system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
You may disconnect Joni from your Instagram or Meta account through the relevant Meta or Instagram account settings. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to receive a copy of certain information.

10. International processing
Joni and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
11. Children's privacy
Joni is intended for professional account operators and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly offer Joni directly to children where prohibited by applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Joni evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page when material changes are made.
